Campground in Northern Maine
Tent sites:
Our tent sites are the perfect option for a northern Maine camping trip. The sites offer plenty of room and some offer views of Buffalo.
Camper sites:
We offer parking for campers and RVs but at this time we do not have hook ups for electricity.
Facilities:
- Each campsite will have covered picnic table and a fire ring.
- In-door bathroom facilities ($2 per night for shower)
Activities:
- Bison farm viewing from camp sites, Bison feeding available
- Riverfront swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, tubing
- Drop/off and pickup for River Trips (half and full day).
- Guided fishing and guided river trips
- ATV trail riding available in the area
Campsite Pricing Maine:
Campsites $30~ per night, per site, for up to four people. Each person after that is $5 per night.
ATV / UTV Riding in Northern Maine
Northern Maine offers hundreds of miles of remote ATV trails, making this the ideal location to get away and enjoy the outdoors on your ATV or UTV. Homestead Lodge is the perfect home base for groups to stay while exploring the trails of Northern Maine.
- The trail head is just 20 minutes from the lodge. This area offers some of the best ATV trails Maine has to offer.
- Onsite fuel available at Lodge.
- Restaurant and bar onsite.
- Lodging options available $180 per night double occupancy, $100 per night single occupancy
