Maine's inland lakes offer amazing opportunities for remote kayak fishing trips. Whether you are looking for a day trip, or a overnight trip, our fully guided and outfitted kayak adventures are filled with great fishing and beautiful Maine wilderness.
With all trips you will arrive the night before the trip for supper and enjoy a relaxing evening and a good night's sleep in our lodge.
Guided Day Kayak Trips
Day trips include breakfast in the morning then off to our departure point. We will paddle, float and fish until we take a break for a shoreline lunch. Then continue on to our pick up point. These are usually 7 to 9 hour trips. Back at the lodge we will take care and prepare any fish for take home. You can choose to stay another night or depart.
Overnight Kayak Fishing Trips Maine
Over night trips are the same as day trips but in early evening we will pull out at designated camping areas and set up camp for the night where we will enjoy supper and a camp fire. In the morning, groups will enjoy a hearty breakfast and head back on the river for another day of paddling floating and fishing.
We will have another shoreline lunch then back on the water to our pull out point and back to the lodge. We will prepare your fish for take home and you can choose to spend another night or depart.
Fishing on Homestead Lodge Kayak Adventures
Guest will be fishing on remote ponds for native Brook trout, smallmouth bass and muskie. We have the option to fish from kayaks, canoes, small boats or an aluminum bass boat. This largely depends on the body of water we are fishing and the species we are targeting.
Brook fishing opportunities
We will have breakfast in the morning then drive to a designated area where we will walk into the Brook we intend to fish and fish for the morning then back to the truck for lunch and off to a second spot for an afternoon bite. Then back to the lodge where we will ready your fish for take home and you can choose to stay another night or depart.
